you have no idea that a great trainer, when he is put with a great talent......you have no idea the damage these kind of unions can do. A Cotto Floyd fight will be a super Mega fight. Floyds greatest risk of his career, facing a guy with better circumstances and revamped skills that will more than test floyd jnr. Whats not to like about that homie??:think:!:
And should Cotto win how much credit does he get for beating a welterweight? Cotto is 160, Floyd is 147 right?
Because it's the biggest payday that Cotto can get and the 2nd or 3rd biggest payday that Floyd can get. When people start understanding that boxing is a business, and the fighters and promoters want to get paid this stuff really isn't that difficult.
I don't particularly want to see the fight, but if you know the business of boxing, you have to think that this fight is going to happen. Both fighters are cash cows, and Floyd would love the chance to become MW champ by beating a guy he knows he can beat.
But that's how they'll sell it. They will say that Sergio was healthy and now that Roach is in the corner Cotto can beat anyone. Then they'll get in the ring probably at some catch weight and Floyd will school him.

Yeah freddie roach is a genius but theres only so much he can do. If mayweather does take this fight then youd have to think why hes taken the fight. Hes a clever guy, he wont risk his unbeaten record.
If cotto somehow pulls off a miracle then he'd get the love of every boxing fan, finally seeing that arrogant duck lose, shrines will be built of cotto.
Possible Golovkin/Cotto fight in the works for the future, after Golovkin fights Geale, they are in talks with Soliman for title unification.............Martinez would not fight Golovkin and for good reason, he knew his knees would not hold up so he fought for the biggest money fight he could get to retire one...............
