Not even Tyson vs Douglas as you kind of knew Tyson was crazy and might blow one by not training or acting a fool.

The utter dismantling and the way it went down. Bad knee or not, maybe Sergio was indeed past it and the injuries caught up with him, but damn! I cant believe how good Cotto looked, what might have been with a good trainer all along, MAN how good is Freddy Roach?????

I NEED TIME TO PROCESS ALL THIS I AM IN SCHOCK....

THATS WHAT I OVE ABOUT BOXING, ITS JUST.......YOU NEVER KNOW....

Wonder how Dwyer that Cotto hater and *****, pro Al Haymon, Black nationalist under cover, will spin this one.

Bring on Canelo and if Cotto wins a Mayweather rematch at 160

youre that shocked even though it wasnt that long ago he gave the #1 fighter in the world problems, is now a 4 division champ, and has spent much of his career as a top notch boxer on the P4P list? Cotto is not a scrub

I'm surprised by his dominance but Martinez was a question mark due to his age and health. Plus I was never nearly as impressed with Martinez over the past few years as a lot of other people were.

Tyson vs. Douglas? Come on.

Maravilla had looked increasingly fragile in his last several defenses.

35 years of boxing and you're shocked by a guy losing with shot knees, wearing knee support to a fight at 39 years of age? REALLY!?

Team ***** are already at it.

Anyways, it is awesome for Cotto. The big losses he sustained before, and bouncing back and then evolving again with Roach. He's had quite the journey.

Martinez was NEVER more than a onetrick pony, arrogant, and very loudmouthed,i have watched boxing for years, and i was sure cotto was the better boxer, and i knew SERGIO wouldn´t withstand Cotto´s lefthook...for **** sake, cotto almost blew mayweather out too!!! IF MAY-COTTO 2 would happen under Roach,Cotto could also win this,he is a beast!!! congrats to Puerto ricos Miguel cotto,4 division worldchamp!!!

I was more surprised with Maidana winning 5 rounds against Mayweather than I was tonight.

The only thing to be shocked about is how utterly shot Martinez was. No one expected him to look that bad. No one should be shocked that Cotto was able to do what he did with a shot Martinez. Still a huge win though and a great fight.

sometimes an unorthodox tough guy will give a skills guy trouble like Mayorga did with Vernon Forrest.

Even with a bad knee I never would have thought Sergio would be blown away this bad....

His wins against Williams, Pavlik, Chavez, Dzinziruk now means nothing as he always was mediocre! Make that fight few years back and Cotto would have been close to dismantle!

Martinez relied heavily in his hand speed and athleticism throughout his career. Once that goes it becomes tough to win especially if your boxing technique is not sound. I give cotto credit though, he hurt Martinez and his legs and speed were zapped even more from the first round.
