Good god Froch is being so overrated it's unreal the guy who was schooled by a one armed Andre Ward can somehow beat the most athletic and fast fighter of all time lol Froch wouldn't land a clean shot it would look like Klitschko vs Lepai that one sided. Why do people overrated a fighter after a win, he beat George ****ing Groves a guy who never beat a top 10 fighter in the division now that means he can beat a top 10 p4p fighter in history lol ok.

Roy Jones beats anybody 168 and under in the history of boxing.

Froch vs Jones? go watch Clinton Woods vs Roy Jones.

I can't actually belive that people are even considering Froch can win this, **** all that will to win **** the guy didn't have much will when he was being made look a bum against Andre Ward RJJ clowns Froch if you think Froch even catches RJJ clean in his prime your laughing. RJJ this is the guy who schooled James Toney and Hopkins to suggest that a B level fighter can beat him in his prime is an insult to the great man.

Jones would beat the brakes off of Froch at 168....or any weight for that matter. Jones at super middle was a ****ing amazing specimen. It's like god activated all the cheat codes when he made RJJ

Agreed. Frankly, this discussion is absurd.

Froch never had to rely on drugs to win. He'd beat an un-juiced up RJJJ.

The fight would never have happened though. Ducker Jones Jr LOVED to duck out of fights with tough European fighters. Fact.

He'd have ducked Froch worse than Stevenson ducked Krusher Kov. The man was a coward and a disgrace to the sport.

Jones vs. Froch would resemble Froch vs. Abraham except Froch wouldn't be in the Froch role.

    Wow, some of these comments.

    People have got short memories.

IMHO, It wouldn't even have been competitive.

The outcome of the fight would have all depended on Roy's mindset going in.

If both guys had been respectful with no animosity, Roy would have cruised to a points win, with a possible late TKO.

But if they'd have been heated words etc, and Roy had've been motivated with a point to prove, then Carl would have been destroyed, no question.

Roy was on another planet to a guy like Carl.

As much as I would like to pick Froch, I have to consider how much trouble he has had with movers and faster fighters even when winning. I imagine the fight a bit similar to when Roy fought C Woods, but I think Froch hits harder than Woods.
The other side recalls how Jones was wobbly after Del Valle landed a big shot on him but I also recall how Froch looked when Groves landed a big shot on him.

Its a tough pick em fight, where I think Roy may just land enough for a close points win with both having tasted the canvas

obviously forch would have no problem taking the fight, he wouldn't run gibbering in terror from roy until roy was 40something like joe.

but there is no doubt that like joe he wouldet his face ripped up, only he would last longer because his chin is better than joes.
