    Lou Dibella Confirms:
Knee not the problem, Sergio simply very dizzy after first blow

Because Sergio is still Dizzy from that very first punch that Cotto hit him with, they are taking him to the hospital as precaution.

Keep him in your prayers, these fighters give their all for us... regardless of you who wanted to win, they gave their all.

I think some people also fail to realize that it's not just the knee itself. When you get surgery anywhere, you can't use the body part for a period of time and the muscles atrophy.

When you get a knee surgery, you have to use a wheel chair or crutches for weeks. It's impossible to even put weight on the leg. Then you have to rehab the leg just so you can stand, then walk and be able to eventually jog and run without feeling any pain.

It'd be foolish to think at this age that he's regained all of the strength back in his legs and that his knee itself would be all the way healthy.

Dibella on damage control so people wont call them out on their lies

Sergio's knee wasn't bad, thats why he couldn't plant his feet at all, that's why he was jumping around on his heels instead of using the balls of his feet like normal people do. gtfo with that bs. He and Sergio ripped off the fans

Martinez had been out of the ring since last April and most of that time was spent recovering from surgery.
It was smart for Cotto to come out and get in Martinez ass early

its true, ive watched many many of his fights (mostly cause i have no life) Sergio came out very off and there was no in-out movement that was once there, he just stood right in front of cotto.

I don't believe it. If the punch did the damage and he was dizzy he wouldn't have gone down on his arse, he would have gone down onto his side. His knee\s couldn't absorb the jolt of being hit so they gave way, he didn't look like he'd had his bell rung.

Dibella better not squeeze another fight out of Martinez.

Martinez clearly doesnt want the knee to be the excuse hence why he avoided saying it in the post fight even when baited. Probably told Dibella to give credit.

But its pretty obvious hes a man in a broken body.

He had to say that otherwise they'd be criticised for even stepping in there in such a condition for a big PPV.
