This is your opinion, a couple of facts -

    1. Floyd will be getting into the HOF ON THE FIRST BALLOT

    2. Highest paid athlete in all of sports

    3. Beat the lineal champ at 130, 135, 147, 154

    4. Beat two HOFer and after Oscar is inducted on Sunday, it will be three.

    5. Beat the current lineal champ at 160 before his match on Saturday

    6. Undefeated for 17 plus years (granted being undefeated doesn't define greatness, but Floyd fought some pretty good fighters in his 46 fight winning streak)

He can't fight everybody that we want him to fight, but he's done enough to get into the HOF in five years once he retires.

Does it hurt Floyd legacy that he didn't fight Sergio? Maybe.

Does it ruin his legacy? Hell no, you are just hating.

that was what I was getting at. floyd started his career at 130...he has beaten the best from from super feather to junior middle. why does he need to fight a middlewt if he's not a middlewt? did chad dawson ruin his legacy by not fighting vitaly klitchko for the heavywt title? i agree with you that some of the guys that post on this board sound really stupid. maybe it's their hate for floyd that makes them that way...or maybe it's a lack of education or just being naturally stupid. but when you're on the internet, morons come with the territory.

People judge a "legacy" by everything that didn't happen in the ring... A shame.

No, fight tonight has nothing to do with Floyd's legacy.
