I took the high road by going with the David Haye example rather then engaging into that post. However, many people don't seem to understand that it was his busted knee that allowed Cotto to connect so hard, so early.

As a response to his saying "He couldn't move his legs because he was stunned over 5 times in the fight", I would just like to respond by saying "he was stunned over 5 times in the fight because his knees were busted and he couldn't move out of the way". He also couldn't put any power into his punches because he couldn't plant his feet. That was the main reason why he was stunned over 5 times in the fight.

Yeah and then people come on here and say Martinez is a class act. Not after this scam.

Do you think Lou Dibiella cared that his knee was bad?

What else could he say? In making that admission he might open himself up to lawsuits. Because basically he fought knowing he had almost no way of winning it, but he got a payday and that's why he proceeded with the fight.

The only way we can really know is to check Martinez underoos. I suspect that the left hook might have left evidence.:bbb

    roach has 6th sense.

roach knew sergio busted his knee.
roach knew cotto is un shot
roach knew that paneer will dump his ass
roach knew that ariza is connected to a columbian PED cartel.
roach knew that margo's eye will pop out exactly at the 15th round in the pac-marg fight.
roach jacks off to ***** threads.

And of course that is just the only possible scenario right?? It couldn't be that Martinez is in with the best fighter he's faced, along with the best trainer in the game, combining skill with an aggressive style to come hard and fast early in the unexpected first round (which is normally feel out) to catch Martinez before he could settle in?? It of course couldn't be that...

It looked similar to D Rod fight except Martinez lasted longer because he's bigger.

What are you Sergio's twin, whatever he feels you feel, is that how you know he was injured and exactly how much??

It couldn't be that. In fact, I think Sergio's spasming knees were actually causing his face to be launched it Cotto's punches, which would otherwise have missed. I'm a doctor and it's called science.:rofl

The knee wasn't 100%. But that was a factor only late in the fight, when the damage was already done. The knee didn't bother him in the first round. Cotto was just too much of a boxer. He could barely hit Cotto.

Exactly. The knee obviously didn't help but it's not like Martinez was impossible to hit in the past and it's not like Cotto has never landed a left hook before.

Imagine what Golovkin would have done to Martinez last night.

Ray Charles is dead and blind and he flatly assumed Sergio's knee wasn't 100%. But, hey, he's a genius. Like Roach.
