So is Martinez at MW (OK maybe not a midget, but he ain't a natural MW either)

Cotto - Martinez will be closer than alot of people think. Cotto is much more skilled than Barker, Macklin and Murray, and all Chavez Jr has on him is he's a natural cruiser!

Lets all hope that Martinez wont train thinking "Well Trout beat him at 154".

Size does play a role here however I don't believe it will be the most telling factor here....cotto has basically fought taller men his whole career and I don't recall seeing him fight a taller man that drops his guard leans forward and relies heavily on his reflexes as much as Sergio does. Conventional wisdom will tell you Sergio is to dynamic for cotto though I wouldnt be surprised seeing cotto get inside via a heavy jab while cutting off the ring. It's going to be a good scrap

Precisely his strategy coupled with body attackage!

Roach said Cotto will be the stronger man on the inside.
If Martinez knees are bad then they will take him out early...if they're good then Cotto will catch up and take him out later.

I like the confidence on both sides!!!

You had it right. While I was rooting for Cotto I thought the size was going to be too much. I knew Cotto was a better boxer but didn't think it was by so much. Cotto fought a masterpiece. Knee problems or not. I wish I could see the face of some of the guys who made stupid comments on this thread

Never really had a doubt, unless Sergio happened to move ahead of Cotto in the skill set department over the past several weeks he was going to get out boxed regardless. Martinez was banking on his physical advantages which of course abandoned him.
