When I say this I'm not singling you out specifically Herol but rather making a generally comment about this whole thread.

Do we have to drag Calzaghe into everything? Cant we leave him out of this for once?

He hasn't been hit by a guy like Roy, who could take out 180 plus guys with single shots.

You have no proof that Roy was on the juice, and you also have no proof that he ducked everyone.

    It's you who's living in a fantasy.

You told me last week, that Joe's win over Eubank, who had 11 days notice and bad knees, was a greater win than Roy's over Ruiz and Tarver.

You've also told me that Lacy was better than Tarver and Griffin.

Not also forgetting, that when Joe said he wasn't chasing Roy, he actually meant to say, that he wanted to fight him, but didn't want to be messed about.

The above is just a few examples of the deluded posts that you constantly write.

What part of Hopkins going a decade without be defeated after Roys fight do you not understand. Its obvious Hopkins lack of amateur pedigree was not a hindrance to his professional career.

Just like Toney, Hopkins have not made excuses for losing to Jones so I don't know why you're bring up his lack of amateur experience.:hi:

You can apply that logic to ANY fight.

All I need, are 6 numbers on the lottery.

Carl would never have been in the position to have landed that one shot.

A Volkswagen can't beat a Lamborghini in a drag race.

Imagine Hopkins and Toney couldn't get to a prime Roy but Carl Froch could. And, both guys does everything in the book better than Froch:rofl

Either RJJ gets caught with solid punches from Froch or he ends the fight on his bike running away from the never-ending Froch onslaught because Roy would not be able to keep Froch off him for 15 straight rounds.

He would never have got caught with solid punches from a guy like Carl.

He didn't get caught with many solid punches in 50 fights.

We're talking about a prime 25 year old version of Roy.

Carl doesn't have the capabilities to consistently land clean, or even at all, on a guy like Roy.

    It's pure fantasy.

Why couldn't Roy have kept him at bay?

Roy had the speed and power to constantly hurt and drop Carl.

The more times Carl would've come forward, the more he'd have got hit and hurt.

Carl's a great fighter, and he's a warrior with a lot of heart.

But he's not some unknockoutable monster.

People picking any version of Froch over prime Jones Jr. have been out in the sun too long...... Jones would've beaten Froch like a dog. Best case scenario for Froch is he loses every round to Jones, more likely scenario against prime Jones is that he gets stopped.

Speed kills. And Jones Jr is arguably the fastest man in boxing ever.
