    Well there you have it folks. Cotto beat Martinez at his best.


    Its a moot point though, since Martinez was overrated and Cotto would have pummeled a 'prime' Martinez JUST LIKE MARGARITO DID.

    Yes his legs were shot. But so what. He took the fight. Thats his fault. All you Martinez fan boy idiots should be pouring the blame on him yet nothing. Some fighters get no respect and others get too much. The double standards are sickening.

    And yes, I stand by my prediction. Cotto beats any version of Martinez. Margarito beats any version of Martinez.

    Martinez was always OVERRATED.

    He should have retired then. Why are people defending this guy honestly. If he was in such a sorry state he duped the fans for a payday. On top of that, he talked so much smack on the lead in.

    I'm honestly not trying to hype Cotto up that much. Cotto did what he was supposed to. I just always thought Martinez was overrated as hell and when he gets smashed people start making excuses.

    This is a guy who almost got stopped by JCC jr. Thats all that needs to be said.

    Martinez knew he was finished as a fighter when he took the fight, that's one reason he refused to fight Golovkin, he took the biggest money fight he could retire on........................Pac made a bloody mess of Cotto, then stopped him..............
