Does beating Jackson put him in the hunt for a title shot?

Mayweather is probably going to vacate and Canelo will probably move up after Lara, so might there be some openings?

Lee can box a bit, and he might have the power and chin to compete at 154. I say get him in with some decent guys and see how he does.

Lee is the perfect fighter for a Champion to beat up on between big fights.Lee is tough, takes a great shot and has courage and will do just enough to lose the big defining fights.
    He will be in demand.

Theres very few guys who "beat up" Lee.

Hes lost twice, against Vera, which he avenged in a shut out and Chavez where he was winning on points.

    Hes not some journeyman

Without the knockout, Andy would have lost 5 rounds out of 5 IMO, against a crude novice.
The judges were very kind to Lee only having him 3 points down..it should have been 5 IMO.
5 points down after 4 completed rounds against a journeyman plodder like JJ is hardly world class. I mean how simple do I have to make it for people?
Andy should not be boxing. He gets hit too much and is too brave for his own good. He should hang em up before he gets hurt.

He looked so bad on Saturday which is a bummer because I truly like the guy.

Needs to get a new trainer. His style under booth is awful.

Should go back up to 160 as well. He could take huge shots at 160 yet gets nearly knocked out cold in 1 round at 154z. Not good

He didnt "nearly get knocked out cold".

He took a big shot, but got up immediately and was absolutely fine

Lee is NEVER in a dull fight. There is always drama and entertainment with Lee.
I'd say Lee V Trout, Canelo, Kirkland, Lara, Cotto would all be exciting.
    Who else at 154?

Jackson probably deserves a rematch, but then so did Fitzy...

Lee has never been one to dwell on the past - except when it came to avenging his loss to Vera. :yep

A rematch with Lee and Vera made sense for both of them.

Unless Jackso foes on and does something, I dont se tehre being a rematch. Definately not one against Fitzgerald.

A fight with Kirkland would be pretty damn brutal that is if Kirkland can ever get a fight. Could have lee fight molina to see if it is possible for lee to be in a bad fight
