Chef if Wlad misses out on another attempt to unify the WBC belt after he beats Pulev, and Wilder fights Stiverne. Is there any chance Wlad could return in Dec.?

I'm suprised Mr. Williams didn't copy and like the post I made calling Dinovelvet a fuc king moron ;)

I think after Pulev if they can't make a unification fight that Wlad should do a big event IN the UK vs Tyson Fury in Dec/Jan. I like that fight as far as generating Western interest.

I highly doubt the camp manager/chef knows what the plans are past Pulev. Hell, I doubt if Wladimir or Bonte have any idea or have given it much thought.

I'm pretty sure Wlad will want to fight whoever holds the WBC belt if he beats Pulev. Unfortunately Stiverne doesn't want to fight until November and if he wins probably won't want to fight again until April 2015.

If Wlad offers Wilder enough money I'm sure he'll fight even if he thinks he'll get knocked out in the first minute of the fight.

Pulev has been waiting a whlie. The Dimitrenko-Pulev fight was billed as an eliminator to face Wlad, as was the Ustinov-Pulev fight. If Wlad wasn't at all worried about Pulev he would have faced Pulev instead of Leapai.

Klitschko-Pulev is the natural fight to make. Pulev is #2 in the division.

If Pulev is not Klitschko's next fight we may be into ducking territory.

Klitscko-Povetkin II or Klitschko-Stiverne would be fine too but I'd rather see Klitschko-Pulev.

Agree with this. It seems pretty simple actually.

Can't see how Wlad can fight anyone outside of Pulev or Stiverne, without losing his cred.

Purse bid June 17th. Bönte said they will happily participate in the purse bid. Fight most likely happening around September. How is Wlad "reluctant" to fight Pulev?

The Wlad critics have to answer one question: since when does a champ - even more so one with 50+ wins and a 10 year title reign - have to appear excited to fight a 20 fight unrehalded mandatory challenger. Pulev is just another random challenger who deserves no special treatment.

How does Wlad and the IBF justify Pulev only receiving 20% instead of the mandated 25%. I've never heard anything like this before, does anyone know if this has happened in any other mandatory defences? Is this setting a new precedent?

I know K2 have a pretty bad reputation for being tough in negotiations with excessive stipulations but this is a new low.

To be honest I stopped following Pulev after he stopped Ustinov and Dimitrenko, both cases it looked like the other guy quit just before the 12th, Not saying it was a dive but like the Wilder/Scott fight they both looked fishy

Only thing i know he did after that was beat Thompson by decision and hasnt really fought anyone of note since although granted it was only a little less than a year ago

Might be wrong on this but I dont see anything special in Pulev that would suggest he could beat Wlad, tough fight maybe but theres a big gap in talent and physical size let alone experience

Klitschko probably boxes his way to a UD or stops Pulev late with a minor scare or two

You're right. He has no reason at all to be excited to fight Pulev.

He only gets excited when fighting guys like Leapai and Mormeck.- -The French Tyson:patsch

That is ridiculous. So you think Pulev is in the same category as Leapai, Mormeck, Pianeta, Wach? He is the nr. 1 challenger, ranked #2 on Boxrec. Leapai, Mormeck, Pianeta, Wach and others weren't even ranked in the top 25 when they fought Wladimir. Pulev beat Ustinov, Dimitrenko and Thompson, 3 contenders and he earned a mandatory spot with it.

What does only '20 professional fights' have to do with his skills? You want him to fight 20 nobodies so he has a record of 40-0?

If ANYONE deserves a shot at Wladimir now, it would be Pulev.

K2 has had the arena reserved in Germany for over a month now not sure why people are acting like the fight isn't going to happen.
