Expect an influx of knocked out bitter Pac fans comments, with a tad bit of Margarito fans disbelieving the truth. After all, they've seen their heroes ktfo lol...

Why do people keep bringing up the Baldomir fight as if that was Floyd's only opportunity to fight Margarito.

Floyd told Margarito to keep winning and the fight would become bigger.

Margarito went on to CRUSH Cotto and the fight would have HUGE!!!!

Everyone was clamoring Floyd to fight Margarito.

But then Floyd GOT SO ASCARED.

    HE RETIRED FOR YEARS...

    LOL LOL LOL LOL

AND LEFT HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON THE TABLE!!!!!

    LOL LOL LOL LOL

He said, "MARGARITO, TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!"

Floyd then went on to pay his arch enemy, PACQUAIO!!!!

Pacquaio said, let's put our drug testing records on the table like two grown men.

    Floyd said...

    TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!

    LOL
    LOL

    LOL

    LOL

Here is the other way to look at all of this: Floys is the big money man in the sport. He could make any fight he really wanted to. I'm not saying it would always be the most buisiness savy thing to do, I'm just saying if he wanted the fight, he could make it happen.

If Floyd had fought Tony when he was "The most feared man in boxing", and then had fought Manny in 2009/20010, there would be no questioning his greatness (even if one of those fights would've required a rematch for him to get the W).

His fame and earning power through endorsments and fights would be even be even bigger and he would just be on a whole different level in the general public eye.

    He just wouldn't do it.

Superior fighters don't duck inferior fighters...even if they used bricks as gloves.

But you duck answering questions about your absurd claims now don't you:deal

Who is your source for saying Wilder Kod Wladimir Klitschko in sparring? Were you there? Did someome who was there tell you that? If so, who? Or did you just make it up because you wish it were true( we all know this is the correct answer)? :think

The guy that got beat up by Cotto, Mosely, and Pacquiao? The same slow, flat footed guy you haters claim Mayweather always fights? I promise, if Mayweather fought and beat him, you guys would call Margarito a cherry pick. PLEASE STOP.

Best thing Mayweather did was leave Arum. If he was still with Arum he would be making 1/3rd of the money he has been. Arum is a disgrace.

I, for one, wouldn't. When Marg was called " the most feared man in boxing", I think Floyd would've beaten him. I guess that's easy to say in hind site...

I also feel when the Floyd-Pac hype was at its peak (2009-2010) Floyd would have a 65% or better chance of winning that also.

Where I get frustrated is that he just wouldn't do it. They say its about buisiness, and I understand that, but there is no way that truly establishing yourself as the clear #1 in your era is bad for buisiness.

That's where I get frustrated with Floyd. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for his constant TBE claims and then refusal to back it up. Idk. Perhaps I have more confidence in Floyds abilities than he himself does:think

Arum and Floyd both want to make as much $ as possible with minimal risk. They are practically the same guy:yep

as far as pac....what suggested he "just wouldnt do it".....he asked for random testing and they said theyd do it...then they started talking about cutoff dates cuz manny cried about blood.....floyd said hed give him 14 days which i think is pretty reasonable and enough time to " recover"......and they walked and miraculously had another fight ready to go(odd huh)......meanwhile shane mosley was signed already to fight berto....floyd, after trying to get the pac fight, was left without a big fight......so haymon had berto pull out so floyd could have that fight(they used the earthquake as an out...but we all know berto could have come through and been his normal self)......but anyway

as far as margs...we know no matter what he wouldnt have gotten any credit in beating him.....but like i said....arum even said that floyd agreed to fight him for the 8 mil.....he just wanted 6 mil more guaranteed for 2 more fights after against hatton/cotto....to sign an extension....arum told him the money wasnt there.......how does arum offer 8 mil to fight margarito....but cotto/hatton who are bigger draws/names financially only get floyd 7 mil guaranteed each?? seems odd....fishy......seems like a smokescreen by arum to me.....cause it makes 0 sense......

ya i guess at any time floyd could have made the fight....if he wanted it....but at the end of the day....there was a window for that fight to even be worth it....and it passed....after shane whooped his ass....that window was pretty much gone.......ya floyd was idle for awhile when that fight coulda made some sense....but floyd had just banked some 60 plus million for 3 fights against baldy, oscar, hatton......and prob wanted to enjoy it and take a break.....if u wanna argue that floyd ducked out and took a vacation cuz he was scared of margs....you could prob make a slight case

you just have to wonder what would have happened if arum had offered floyd 8 for margarito and then 10 mil for his next two fights...which would have been cotto and hatton......instead he told him he could only do 7 and floyd was like "yaaa...i think im gonna get outta here"....arum acted as if he was asking for the world....in reality he wasnt asking for much......to me it looks as if arum was lowballing floyd feeling as if floyd was prob going to leave anyway......so that he could create the myth that floyd was running fro margarito

from fat dans article in 06 about floyd turning down the margs fight

"Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million."

how does that make sense? only if bob was thinking margarito was going to kill floyd.......or he was thinking floyd would not take that deal, opt out, and bob could claim he was afraid or margarito because he was prob going to leave anyway.......bob had an inkling that floyd could opt out because he was chasing oscar.....and bob wouldnt make the oscar fight for him

    Spin spin bull****.

Do you guys have a list of the questionable PBF antics that need to be 'swept under the carpet' by one of your threads? Do you have two a day to complete to be a proper PBF fan?
