Carson actually had good defence. he didn't leave himself open like Porter does.

Brook dominated and outclassed Carson for the first six, Carson didn't land anything. but Brook gassed and had a broken nose which made it hard for him, but he overcame the obstacle by showing plenty of heart and grit to get the win.

Brook has since got a conditioning coach to make sure he's in the best of shape for all his fights so he doesn't gas again.

he rematched Carson when the Americans said he wouldn't ever go back there again and beat him up in a one sided fight, and brought proceedings to a close by stoppage.

Porter got a gift against Diaz. :good

you go on like Porter is this proven beast when all he's done is beat two 140lbs fighters. one was finished, the other had quit for the second time just before he fought Porter. so who gives a ****?

Kell is far more skilled than Porter will ever be. Porter is a predictable come forward fighter with bad defence who's clearly just started taking steroids.

Porter likes to move in and out, attack and drop back. He feints pretty well. He's very, very athletic.

Steroids? Any basis?

Malignaggi praised him not because he hurt him with his power, but because he was unpredictable in his attack. To be able to bang out a chintested tough guy like Malignaggi's is pretty impressive, although the win is being overrated by many.

He did pretty similar work against Alexander, but wasnt able to land real power shot. Neither guy could handle Porter's strength. Nor do I think will Brook.

Porter is getting overhyped by some, but the guy has something going now, seems to have hit his stride and I think will have Brook running for his life come fight night. Brook won't want any part of the inside fight, and I don't think he has the defensive acumen to keep Porter off him, so something has to give. I'm betting that's Brook's questionable chin. i guess we'll see.
