How in gods name did these countries get a franchise for next year yet Ireland ,Britain , Brazil and the likes are still without one?

These team don't even have a hope of competing with Cuba, Russia or Kazakhstan

I see its expanded to 15 teams so will it be 3 groups of 5?

AIBA is just like FIFA, corrupt to the core

    I'd say so

Normally I wouldn't care at all about seeing these poorer nations getting teams but considering it's going to be hard to qualify for the next Olympics if your country doesn't have a franchise I'm disgusted

I'm sure they will still have there quotas so lots of terrible African , Asian and oceanic boxers make it to the Olympics but this could mean that even more quality boxers won't qualify

They say that the boxers from other countries will be drafted onto the teams but are these teams going even if they want to win the wsb going to start foreign boxers before there home boxers knowing it will hurt there own boxers chances of qualifying

Well the reason why Ireland has no team, is mainly due to the lack of involvement of the British Lionhearts.
And the reason there is no Lionhearts this year is cause BABA is getting more funds from UK sports administration.

Its about money and influence, and so far AIBA is not offering enough to persuade everyone.

No doubt Morocco will draft the foreign boxers. At least we'll probably get some fights in Casablanca. :)

I'm wondering why aren't countries like Brazil and Britain included?
