Last weekend there was a fighter with a 20+ Pro record who also had a 380+ amateur record who got KO'ed by a fighter with no amateur experience.
Prepare yourself for, Oh ****! Here we go again. :yep

He'll move in, land combinations on Russell Jr, then move out of range.

That would be a plan, but why didn't he do the same to Saildo?
If he had, he would probably have won. Is that because he lacks experience?

Gary doesn't fight like Salido, he's more of a counter puncher/boxer, this suits Lomachenko a lot IMO, he'll get more time and space.

Gary does have a better jab than Lomachenko but his footwork is not great, Lomachenko's footwork is ridiculously good. I think Lomachenko's best option is to circle and confuse Gary with feints, move in, land a combination, throw body punches et cetera then move out again, rinse and repeat.

I think the GRJ has enough Pro experience to have watched the Saildo fight and realize that Loma doesn't actually possess the great footwork people falsely give him credit for, and that he was wide open for the wide and slow punches Saildo hit him with all night.

The fight plans you describe are the exact opposite to what Loma did or should have done against Saildo. Rather than fall into, grab and wrestle with the larger Saildo, Loma would have done better to stay outside, use his jab and speed against the older, slower and heavier opponent.

Against the younger, faster and more talented GRJ, he'd be better off grabbing and getting inside to smother Russell's faster hands, better jab and shape combinations.

I think Lomo stops GRJ in 9 rounds GRJ style suits him down to the ground imo and Lomo will show us all why he won all them golds you can't read much into the Salido loss except Lomo isn't a LW and Cole is the worst ref in boxing if anything i think his stock rose even though he lost who the hell in their 2nd pro fight could fight an experience championship level fighter 2 weight classes above them get fouled like crazy and still badly hurt them and loose a close fight despite the defeat that shows how good Lomochenko actually is.

So its safe to say you are picking GRJ? We'll see if that prediction stands.

Loma's best win is better than any of GRJ's and he only has 3 fights :lol::lol::rofl:rofl

GRJ has been coddled because he has a Glass Jaw. Wait and see. His Chin is getting obliterated in the most brutal and embarrassing way possible. It will make Khan's KO losses look like childs play.

Russell Jr will outwork Loma to a UD win.

Gary executes better than Lomachenko but I think that Loma has the tenacity edge. I have never seen what Gary is like when he gets hurt or when he loses a round real bad. Can he put that kind of stuff behind him, adjust and keep fighting. His will to win is the question mark. I know that Lomachenko can because he persevered against Salido and almost pulled it out. If Cary doesn't knock him out then it will be a very interesting fight because Gary will have to be on his A game for the whole 12 rounds to pull it out.

Loma has a poor workrate can't fight on the inside and can't adjust. He has good power and movement and looks like a good athlete but looks amateurish at times. Not saying he cant win but I'm going with Russell Jr here.

Lots of differing opinions, an interesting, unpredictable fight.
