Didn't Martinez say he was 100% before the fight?

You're right, Martinez was limping because he was healthy.

Maybe it wasn't reinjured, maybe it was just stiff.

I did see the fight, and I heard what the doctors, the MRI, Lou Dibella, and Martinez himself said... His knee was fine, he took 108 left hooks to his face, was dazed, he thinks he was concussed in round 1, and never recovered.

Let me guess... you picked him to KO Cotto huh? lol...

You do realize that he injured his knee in his previous two fights right? You do realize he wasn't 100% for those either?

I can't believe people actually think he was healthy. Of course he isn't going to make excuses, that's not in his nature.

...so did Nicky Cook (not 100% sure on the name) heading into the Burns fight.

    Result?

TKO1; with some sort of broken back as the reason.

Yes I do, he injured his knee two years ago, tweaked it 10 months ago, and then was cleared to fight again and said he felt better than he had in 3 years. I also realize the MRI he got after the fight, the same kind that confirmed he had injured his leg in his previous two fights, said this time, that his knee was fine. smh lol... the fighter himself, his promoter, the MRI, the doctors, everyone is saying his knee was ok... except the armchair doctors who picked him to win.

That guy is never going to give credit where it's due. Martinez's MRI showed negative for knee damage, still not good enough.

People are never the same after surgeries. It may not have re-injured, but his mobility was gone from the previous injuries. It was gone in his last fight too. You mean to tell me Cotto beat a healthy Martinez with ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with his knee?

When you have surgery on your joints, it's never the same.

For the record, I like Cotto more than Martinez. Just not a big fan of either guy.

You can have pain in your joint or injured part without having it injured. I know people who have had surgery and never walk the same, despite not being injured still. Or still experience pain after.
