It makes it tough to turn a fight around, whether the first round knockdowns had anything to do with his knees or not. Sergio had no leverage in his shots.

i'm sick of people defending cottos victory against sergio "captain dan" martinez. if cotto is so damn good lets see how he does against canelo, if he makes canelo look like he did captain hook i'll be a believer.

OH I want to watch that one!! Not sure who will win but inclining towards Cotto out boxing him to a decision. Whoever wins it , I don't care. It will be a great fight

Ok.... so the fact sergio had surgery on his knees and wore knee braces was because he wanted an elaborate excuse for losing to Cotto? Got it.

Btw, he wasn't wearing a brace. It was a sleeve.

And you want to see someone with knee problems, watch Yuri Foreman. That's what knee problems looks like.

The knee could be 100% medically, that doesn't mean there isn't soreness or that his knee responds well under stress. Let's hear the reasoning for Martinez' lack of ability to take a punch. Getting wobbled by jabs and ****...

Are you people slow or what? So butthurt, trying to validate Cotto's victory.

Gee, it was a sleeve, which apparently isn't a brace. I've never been schooled so badly. This concludes that Sergio had a pristine set of knees.

Anyone could see that Martinez' knees were bad, no balance, no leverage on his punches. Golovkin will knock Cotto out, but Cotto will never have the balls to fight Golovkin.....................

Ok...so why was his lateral movement so poor even before Cotto landed the first meaningful punch?

Sergio is trying to save face and it isn't working. He knows he duped people in order to cash out. He knows we know too.

If both of Sergio's knees were fine, then my ***** is fine. And, I can assure you, my ***** is not fine. I certainly can't stand on the thing.

Take it from a guy (me) whose knees are shot from a football injury

Martinez' knees are shot. And when your knees go, everything becomes hard even standing up normally

Still doesn't change the fact that Martinez was inactive for over a year and clearly past it.
