Lee is NEVER in a dull fight. There is always drama and entertainment with Lee.
I'd say Lee V Trout, Canelo, Kirkland, Lara, Cotto would all be exciting.
    Who else at 154?

Glad yere entertained. Maybe you and Moorser can push Andy around in a wheelchair and tie his laces for him in a few years time......

Dude its not like he is getting pummeled into submission in every fight, or any fight for that matter. He isn't slick so he gets clipped by a big punch every now and again not everyone is floyd mayweather. If liking that is a bad thing you might want to try following another sport

Yet you're on Macklin's nutsack at every opportunity, he's not exactly a defensive wizard himself is he? I'm fact he's taken way more punishment than Lee in his career (Moore, Martinez, Golovkin, and even a few journeymen have been able to smack him around plenty), but I don't hear you calling for his retirement, funny that...

Anyway, Lee can be in some good, entertaining fights but can't see him ever justifying the hype he once generated, I'm saying this as someone who used to think he was the real deal.

HE could fight the loser of Lara vs Canelo.

    You noticed I'm a Macklin fan, I see.:thumbsup
Macklin is miles better than Andy.
Yes he does get banged up, but that's partly cos he likes a tear up, partly cos his facial features just are the type that mark up easily, and partly cos he gets hit with a lot of grazing punches that mark him up but don't do him any serious damage.
Andy does take the kind of flush shots that do serious damage though. There is a big difference.

Like you I thought Andy was the real deal too. Now I just want him to retire.

Speaking of Macklin...now that he is a free agent, maybe we will see a Macklin v Lee fight?

Yeah Len I noticed that you're a Macklin fan, subtle as you are ;)

The thing is you're calling for Lee to retire based on the fact he gets hit too much, by that reasoning you may as well say the same about Macklin among many, many others. What about Froch, he is defo an example of a fighter who gets hit way too much, by bigger punchers than Anto Fitzgerald or Brian Vera. Or is it your opinion that a fighter should only continue their career if they are getting hit too much at world level? Because whatever way you slice it your brain does not know if it's getting damaged in a 10 round meaningless fight or a world title fight, damage is damage. I just think you're being too harsh on Lee here.

I doubt Lee - Macklin will ever happen bud, but if it does I'd have to give the edge to Mack as overall he seems the best bet going by current form. If you had asked me a few months ago I would have said Lee on points but I have to be honest, he hasn't impressed lately at all. Still think he could be in some entertaining fights though, it's up to him whether he is prepared to be a gate keeper type fighter though as that's where he is at the moment. :good

Lee just had his timing off, that right hook was coming all night. I'd give Lee a shot with anyone in an around 154lb. He's big at the weight.

Bundrage, Smith, Trout, Clottey, Kirkland or Angulo. He has too many options to pick from.

    Good post! :thumbsup
I think Macklin has left DiBella (on bad terms), and Lee is with Lou so you prob right they won't fight soon. It hardly matters anyway, Macklin has wasted the last few years of his career - way too inactive, he might as well retire too. I'm fed up with the whole thing to be honest. These guys are nowhere near active enough....part time boxers!

Lee? What next for Jackson?! Jackson looked good but got careless as he thought he had Lee hurt. I would like a fight between the Charlo brothers vs Lee and Jackson.
