he looks the same in the speed and power categories. i will say that i'm liking the way he's sitting on his back foot more...and using headmovement instead of that bull**** high guard pedro diaz had him using.
Roach is the king of Wilcard PEDs. He didn't get Parkinsons from boxing. He got it from making drugs. Why else would he call out Fortune and Ariza as cheats exposing his most prized fighter? It's a cover up.
First you guys call him a gay pedephile now he's a drug manufacturer and dealer!!! atsch And where is Lady Girl ....is she just a one night stand....Sun is up and she's gone!!!
I'll have to watch the fight, but from what I could see, this fight didn't show me enough to determine if Cotto's stamina problem is resolved. That's always been his biggest issue.
Im reasonably convinced the MVC! and markq are the same posters. No one else would be twisted enough to put Cotto's win down to PED's. FFS. Some people haha
Roach said he was doing too much road work and tearing his leg muscles....he had him doing very little road work. A lot of cycling and pool exercises with a lot of sparring....while actually simulating a 12 rd fight!!!
I went to Cotto's strength and conditioning coach's website for his company, SportsScienceLab. He talked about his training mechanisms ensuring his fighters don't get DOMS, but get maximal strength production, which allow them to train their boxing skills more often. He also knows that Cotto had a lot of mileage, and he would specifically tailor his program for that.
Not sure why I see Floyd fans jumping on this band wagon, or even anyone for that matter. We know Freddie and Cotto would fight Floyd in a heart beat, and we know what that means, OSDT testing for everyone!
Cotto's power was always a little over rated. He got away with quite a few low blows when he was younger. When he wasn't punching guys in the nuts, who did he KO? He hit Margarito with everything and the Kitchen sink, and couldn't even get a knockdown, while a guy like Mosely, pounded Margarito out, putting him on the canvas while doing it. Cotto landed his bread and butter on big head Pacman, and Pacman ate it. While a small guy like Marquez drops Pacman, and then KO's him face down ass up. lol. When younger, Cotto was famous for his hard low blows, that Merchant and Lampley would call a vaunted body attack. Should have been called, a vaunted nad attack. Had Cotto never low blowed Corley, Torres, or Judah, he wouldn't have beat any of the three.
