Hopefully Cotto elects to fight GGG....if not then hopefully Floyd takes the bait and signs up for a rematch with Cotto.

It will be a different outcome as Floyd will be the same fighter against a
well conditioned, well prepared and focussed Cotto!

I see Floyd getting his ring cut off and backed onto the ropes or corner and having his body pummelled.
Cotto will employ angles and combos.....won't allow Floyd to steal a round with the clubbing over-hand rights. Which he continually threw over Cotto's high ( Diaz inspired ) guard.

I do not believe Floyd will be able to sneak in those uppercuts...

Also, Cotto does not lose rematches!!!

    Bring it On!!!!!!

Nope Floyd has the skills to compete with The Fab 4 and come out victorious in some of those bouts. Cotton has nothing for Money. No one does in this era.

Both Mayweather and Cotto are in their 20's, undefeated, fighting in the same divison, both champions, both with Top Rank - Not a fair fight because Cotto is too green

Both are undefeated, in the same divison, both champions and both prime. However Mayweather is no longer with Top Rank - Mayweather supposedly would get battered by Cotto at this time and ducked the fight even though Cotto made zero effort to make the fight happen

Cotto is a division higher than Mayweather, both are in their 30's(Mayweather is more than 3 years older), both are champions, and neither is with Top Rank - The fight happens, Mayweather wins decisively. However, Cotto is supposedly shot, making the fight meaningless.

2 years after their fight, Cotto is now back with Top Rank and no longer shot - Cotto wins.

Cotto doesn't lose rematches, Mayweather doesn't lose period.

Floyd just can't lose, he's not beatable in any way.

He only had that SOMEWHAT competitive fight with Cotto (117-111, 117-111, 118-110) because Floyd had incarceration on his mind and wasn't fighting 100%.

I agree, Capt. Looking forward to this rematch happening, just not sure Floyd would take it. Last time Cotto looked great and a fight was imminent, Floyd retired. He waited for Cotto to move up and look lack luster before fighting him. Now Cotto has Roach, someone that will actively seek out this fight and will drop word to the media to make it happen.

What's Floyd going to do outside of this option? Fight Garcia? A Maidana rematch? Nobody will be buying that polished turd of a PPV.

Yup he fought that way for FANS.

It was a great fight by Maidana but he still lost wide. 8-4.

He got outlanded even though he punched 400 times more. Floyd was far more accurate, landing 60% of his power punches, 53% overall.

Roach contradicts that Floyd fought that way for his fans....

He says that is B.S.... Floyd's legs are shot and Cotto will KO him!!!

He said that b4 Canelo.... and of course that proved that to be false. Floyd's legs are still fine, although he has lost a step or two. Still way enough to beat Pacquiao or Cotto with ease. :hi:

Roach is 0-2 vs Floyd.... 0% win rate!!!!

He doesn't know how to beat Floyd, never has, never will! :hi::thumbsup

lol Cottomania is in full effect now. Oh for the good old days right after Pac made Cotto run for his life in the ring. Roach hasn't done anything significant with Cotto and this will be evident the first time he is matched with a live body.

Roach has been saying Mayweather's legs were shot since the Marquez fight.

I think we will see what Roach is talking about when he starts getting backed up with stiff jabs!!!

Body shots to soften the old man's legs!!!
