Roach is just looking for a payday. He and Arum consistenly use Mayweather's name to hype up their guys. Miguel had his chane and lost decisively. Beating an ESPN level fighter and 39 year old fighter with balky knees doesn't all of a sudden make Cotto a different fighter.

You might be more believable if he hadn't walked through Delvin like a butter knife cutting butter and then doing the same to the Great
    " Maravilla " !!!!

Although I don't think he can beat Mayweather, Cotto is still a top level fighter. Beating down a guy like Delvin should be expected. He looked sharp against Martinez. However, Martinez looked terrible against Murray, then had knee surgery and was off for a year before fight Cotto.

Points well made and taken....however, I disagree regarding Floyd. I believe he will be taken on the rematch.
    There are plausible reasons why!!!

It could happen. Floyd didn't look great in his last fight, Cotto had some success when they fought before, if they fought in a small ring that might help Cotto.

If they fought again, it would be in Vegas. All Vegas fights have to take place in a standard 20 x 20 ring.

I can see Floyd knocking Cotto out this time around.

He had Cotto out on his feet in the 12th round. If Floyd had pushed it back then, he would have easily won by knockout. The right hook left uppercut combos are deadly and Cotto couldn't solve it, he was getting hit by that combination multiple times in the fight.

Floyd had incarceration on his mind and that's why he wasn't at 100% or even close to it.

If Floyd comes in prepared and 100%, Cotto is getting knocked out cold.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. That suggestion was hypothetical anyway, I doubt Floyd would agree to anything that might possibly favor his opponent.

He agreed to go up in weight when he fought Cotto. That favored Cotto.

:rofl and what did he have on his mind when he faced Maidana???

Stamina will not be an issue in this fight as Cotto is no longer over running burning out leg muscles. He is well trained and conditioned!!!

Floyd for the first time will find himself belly Up!!!

:rofl Floyd landed a flush uppercut, Cotto throws punches and that = put on his feet? GTFO!

Floyd beat a Cotto that was fighting in a style he was never built for. In every sport, proper preparation and conditioning is paramount to success. Cotto is finally with the right combination of trainer and S&C coach. He will be a refined version of the fighter that made Floyd retire from boxing to avoid the fight.

Fair enough but did he really have much choice?

He could've requested a CW. What do you want him to do, voluntarily put himself at a disadvantage when he doesn't have to? Why would anyone do that?

Floyd still wins close at 160 but I think it's a little closer and I think we may get our first Mayweather knockdown...I'd like to see it, but I'd MUCH rather see Canelo or Golovkin
