No, based on how they've fought. Can you imagine how much **** GGG would've got if he did to Konecny what Quillin did (or rather didn't do)? We don't know yet how good Golovkin is. We feel that we've seen Quillin somewhat plateau. It's this that makes people believe that GGG would win, not on paper.

A very necessary fight if it can be made. Kid being hurt by an in coming assault from GGG is a likely outcome I'd be more interested in seeing how GGG reacts to kids explosive offensive burst. I'd live to see the fight not sure how many of you guys would like to see it since after reading the previous post everyone seems to know GGG would simply smash the kid. Damit you guys take the fun out of everything just like cotto vs Martinez fight where everyone picked cotto to smash Martinez.....wait.....?

I've seen them both several times. My money is on GGG. Say what you want but I would put the odds at 3-1.

GGG destroys him. Quillen has regressed as a fighter IMO. He looked great coming up good speed and throwing punches with bad intentions. Now he looks average at best.

When I first saw Quillen several years ago when he fought at MSG I thought hey this guy has tremendous upside. He looked great. He still is a very good fighter, but he is not the caliber of GGG. He has looked a bit unstable the last couple times I have seen him. Not sure what is going on but it does not appear positive.

I remember many years ago lots of fellow ESB members picking a guy named Jeff Lacy to destroy Calzague....yeah... I remember... The minute Lacy was put with a higher caliber boxer....he was over his head...

Quillen struggled with Konecny, Dzinziruk Dominated him.
Quillen beat a partially retired Winky less convincingly than Paul Williams.
Quillen had he not had 4 knockdowns of N'Dam should have lost on points.
Quillen took 7 rounds to stop Guerrero not that convincingly, Lemieux destroyed him in 2 1/2 rounds.
Quillen was wobbled badly and starting to lose to Rosado, who was dominated by Charlo.

While I'm not sold on GGG I've yet to see him struggle slightly in beating any of his opponents who have been equal if not superior to Quillen's opponents.

I'm not sure Quillen beats Lemieux, Sturm, Geale, Rubio,or Stevens.
I definitely don't see him beating Golovkin.

Anything can happen, Quillin has power in both hands to change a losing fight in his favor, but I think Kid Chocolate loses focus in his fights and gets into his opponents fight, starts losing rounds he not supposed too. GGG has too much in his arsenal and calmly takes his time breaking opponents down, Quillin doesn't know if he wants to box or slug it out, not very good on inside either. Rosado gave him hell for that.

This fight should have already happened. From what Quillen has showed, GGG, would be the clear favorite.

Last time I checked GGG, has not had three major surgeries on his knee very recently.
