Povetkin- Rahman was meant to be just a warm up for a David Haye fight in London.
It was moved and became a joint headliner with Pulev.

You think Rahmam is worthy enough to top a bill? Even the Germans aren't that guillible.:patsch

Quite despicable on Klitschko's part, a true testament to his greed and arrogance

It's the IBF who's the biggest joke in all this.

Klitschko argued Pulev never headlined a single event in his career. Good point isn't it?

So? Pulev probably hasn't earned much in his career so far, just give him the money every mandatory deserves.
Klitschko got 17 million against Povetkin for an utter non-performance and Pulev shouldn't even get more than 15 %?? Ridiculous!
Your boxing heros can do whatever they want you are not capable of any critical thought, are you?

How many times Pulev said he does not care about the money. He just wants Klitschko to sign contract and step in the ring. Why everyone still talks money 25%,20%,15%,5%, rubish....

The same could be said for plenty of fighters that earned a mandatory, doesn't mean they should get screwed out of their purse split. The IBF should enforce and stick to their own established rules and regulations.

This just shows once again the sanctioning bodies are puppets to K2

Vitali screws around Stiverne holding the belt hostage, WBC allowed it, didn't strip him, then rewarded him with Champion Emeritus a 2nd time.

Wlad didn't take a WBO mandatory in nearly two years, yet when Leapai upsets Boytsov, he quickly gets the WBO to instill Leapai as a mandatory and makes the fight, despite Leapai/Boystov only being a 10 round tune up fight, not an eliminator or anything.

Not sure what you're smoking. It wasn't Wlad who designated Boytsov - Leapai to be a WBO eliminator. The WBO did -- under pressure from Sauerland (who signed Boytsov). Then their fighter gets upset the WBO still has to honor the mandatory obligation, otherwise Leapai would have a good reason to sue them. You can't designate a fight to be an eliminator, and then withdraw mandatory challenger rights from he winner.

If the fight was slated for 4, 10 or 12 rounds has little to do with the fact that the WBO designated this to be an eliminator well before the fight took place.
