I posted on the general forum having no knowledge of the existence of this forum but I need help getting all of my gear since I finally decided to pick up boxing even though I've been a student of the game ever since I could remember!
Before you worry about getting your own gear, find a good coach first and start training. They typically will provide you with gloves and sometimes hand wraps(during training) which is pretty much all your gonna need for the first couple months. The only other thing I needed was a mouth guard once I was allowed to do full contact sparring.
