As much as Cotto is greater than Bika, he would get knocked out by him. Size, power, and dirty tactics? Yeah, no chance - especially since Cotto would not have any big shot punch to punish Bika or even keep his respect.

How about if he drained them to 161-163lbs?

this fight was always about how much Martinez had deteriorated though
the only thing cotto really has in his favor at MW is that it's a pretty weak division

i don't see Cotto winning against any of the title title holders at 168.

    Froch would crush him.
Bika would be too strong and tough for him.
Ward would wrestle with him until the crowd were woken up and told to go home.
Abraham is past his best these days, but he would find the smaller and past his best Cotto to be easy pickings.

all the top 168 fighters would be too much of a step up. Cotto is just too small for them.

    Does'nt really matter does it?

There was a time when only the truly elite even smelled winning titles in multiple weight classes, now B and even lesser than that fighters win championships in different weight classes.

Title belts nowdays are watered down so it really does'nt matter.

HBO wants a Golovkin Vs. Cotto fight, but Roach will never allow Cotto to fight Golovkin, it would be murder..............

If Alvarez beats Lara, which I think he will, then he would stand a good chance to get a fight with Cotto, Alvarez by knockout!!!

He has the WBC Super Middleweight title to gain, which is the purpose of this thread.
