all roads go through ward at 168. he's the man to beat. he doesn't need to chase anyone. it sucks that he doesn't have a good promoter.

Andre ward is like the mouthy kid that stands in his garden shouting out challenges to other kids but won't come out of his garden to fight any of them

I remember when Calzaghe reached the top and had a bullseye on him for it. Everyone wanted a piece of him. In fact, daddy Enzo said (in an interview I saw on youtube) that they were like flies drawn to ****. Hmm Ward on top and nobody wants to mention except Europeans still butthurt that he upended the odds in the super six. Froch vs Chavez Jr is a good fight for free tv. PPV and I'm catching the replay.

Donaire said he wasn't going to watch any Rigo's bouts either because he doesn't inspire him. What a stupid thing to say.

Ward only agreed to stay in the super six on condition he never had to fight abroad so he didn't exactly go after anything really did he. He's just a spoiled athlete

At this point it sounds like Ward just doesn't want to fight anymore.

Well if he is not going to chase them then he is not going to get them and his career will suffer. You reap what you sow.

After what fights did he go after? Ward never traveled, always had the advantage of home turf.

:lol:I'm pretty sure he as referring to Froch a guy he's already beat. Here is another boxing quote I recall,
"**** Winky. We got the belts." DiBella on Wright's reluctance to rematch Jermain Taylor.

Well of course he is not going to chase someone he already beat but he should be chasing the biggest and best fights for his legacy and bank balance.

Donaire is still in denial. I prefer to watch Rigondeaux over Ward and they are both pure boxers. It's just that Ward puts me to sleep with all the hugging he does.

    very good points.

    i won't watch froch/chavez on ppv either.

i stopped watching donaire fight. the guy had his time...now he's killed my interest in him with all the bull**** excuses after the rigondeaux loss. it's unfortunate that rigondeaux has been iced and arum/hbo refuse to promote him.
