Some assholes on here. And I know burns is spending a couple of weeks with campbell quality southpaw sparring. And I think the main reason for the change of trainer was just to be in london away from things I think it really helps fighters prepare especially with him having a young daughter

Being fussy here but its actually a boy he's got :D.

I know it's not much and you can't go on training footage but he looked good on the bag looked to be trying to go back to his speed instead of sitting down on his shots which is good he should use his speed to his advantage and not try reaching in with his shots. Good to see a bit of head movement in there aswell.

With the little you seen in the video Burns looked to be enjoying himself and trying to use head movement (something that really has been lacking in his last 2 fights). Looking forward to see if he can pull off what he has been doing in the gym in his bout on the 27th!!

haha my bad thought he had little girl still same goes like he said in recent interview same with froch spending his weeks in sheff some fihhter have to get out the comfort zone and I think it was getting that way up in scotland with ricky and I think hel be better off in london giving it 100% focus. Not saying one trainer is better than the other but its about the whole situation

I saw many fights ago and said it on here, "there IS something frightening about the way Burns fights - a bit too predictable, one dimensional, not enough lateral movement - they were on a high, Billy blanked it...

you might be right he might be to set in his ways and will always fall back to what he has been accustomed into doing. However IF he can execute some difference into his style/way/psyche, maybe, just maybe he could carry on a bit further.

a Good but not great fighter. I think the change will serve him well. Good luck to him, he's a good kid!

Sims only had a few fighters mediocre ones at that. Eddie enters boxing and Sims is inundated with matchroom fighters part of the Joshua deal was that he had to train with Sims because he first choice was Booth.

It's only my opinion but I'm not sure Adam Booth would have been the right choice for Anthony Joshua anyway, all of Adam's fighters box a certain way and I don't think that would have suited Joshua. At the end of the day it should be up to the boxer who trains him anyway, I don't understand why a promoter gets involved with that decision?
