Wrong. He said behind Lampley, during the segment they showed directly before the Cotto vs. Martinez replay on HBO. That was recorded earlier tonight.

I have a feeling white boy may shut Provodnikov out on the scorecards tonight. Algieri by unanimous decision.

    Round 3

Monaghan is circling right and drilling Muriqi with the 1-2, splitting his guard apart. Body shots delivered in bunches as Monaghan ducks in, lunging with his front leg and bending the knee to load up. Muriqi tries to time him with the jab or slap-hook stepping around but Monaghan is beating him to the punch with the 1-2 stepping in and out.

    10-9 Monaghan

    30-27 Monaghan

Sorry to be beating a dead horse here but
Martinez was hurt by damn near every single
Left hook that cotto threw smh poor Sergio but
He doesn't look like his legs were as bad as ppl make it seem
He doesn't have the same movement he always has
But it's not that bad either but I guess for him
It was bad enough to get his ass handed to him

    Round 4

Monaghan is catching Muriqi with his aggressive leads as well as counters now, with Muriqi starting to flip up jabs and 1-2s from the hip and slap with the left hook as he widens his stance and shuffles around Monaghan. Counter 1-2s by Monaghan, getting closer and closer to landing flush. Muriqi tosses a straight flurry, left jab rising from the hip and right hand sailing lazily across, high and kinked. BIG shotgun blast counter by Monaghan, short right hand on the chin, Muriqi down and saved by the bell.

    10-8 Monaghan

    40-35 Monaghan

There's a good chance that Martinez had little to no sparring for this fight because he was afraid of injuring his knee.

Right from the opening bell, he didn't have the same fluid movements he used to have. It was a combination of everything, from old age, leg injury and lack of proper sparring.

    Round 5

Monaghan is jabbing over the brow and ripping into the body of Muriqi with hefty left and right-handed scoops. Looping rights by Monaghan, sneaking around behind Muriqi's left wrist and cracking him on the jaw, bothering him. Muriqi slides bravely into the pocket and hatchets with his jab, tossing light 1-2s to dissuade Monaghan, smokescreen offense buying time for Muriqi to keep moving and sucking wind.

    10-9 Monaghan

    50-44 Monaghan

It has been nearly ten years since anybody stopped "The Kosovo Kid" - and in that decade he fought a handful of top 15-20 opponents. (Caparello, Judah, Woods, Tarver)

Monaghan may be slowing down just a little bit and losing some snap. Muriqi has a nice chin to absorb so many clean shots.

Good post this actually makes sense more than most on this forum
    I honestly don't believe he's 100% shot I think
He takes a cash out rematch fight against Chavez jr
And if he gets knocked out(which I think he does) then
He rides off into the sunset with a big payout in hand

    Round 6

Monaghan is pecking at Muriqi's guard with double jabs leaning in, then straightening up and teetering from side to side to keep Muriqi lunging and missing with sloppy rights and straight flurries. Monaghan is countering with the right hand on the grill and working the left hook on the body as he turns Muriqi. Steady 1-2 by Monaghan, with Muriqi coming in and roping his arms out haphazardly, just a beat behind Monaghan.

    10-9 Monaghan

    60-53 Monaghan
