Video: Robert Garcia says Algieri might win; Roach calls him a fool

Freddie Roach is a clown sometimes. A few days ago Robert Garcia watched Chris Algieri training, and said to the press that Chris is being underrated and that Ruslan "better watch out".

When Roach found out about it, he said Garcia didn't know sh** about boxing.

Now that Garcia has been proven right, does it mean that Roach doesn't know sh** about boxing?

Wow! As Freddie ages, he's becoming more and more of an *******.
He really is becoming an unrespectful, unlikeable character.

I dont think it has to do with anything about his Parkinson's illness either.
I think that success got to his head.

Up to his early years with Pacquiao, before he became a PPV star, Roach was a grounded person who had respect for others. It just is'nt the case anymore.
Usually its the fighter that gets carried away by success and the trainer that fights to keep his fighter grounded.
In this case its Manny Pacquiao who has for the most part remained grounded and very rarely if ever spews venom on others, and its Freddie Roach who's become unhinged, spews venom everytime he opens his mouth, and almost never gives the other side credit.

Freddie Roach is an ego driven idiot now.
Even when talking about his own fighters, he never fails to give himself the credit for their success.
To bad Freddie.

 

For all his success, Roach looks like he'll end up a bitter old *****!

 

To be fair though, Parkinson's disease is known to cause behavioral issues.

 

I like Roach, but "What the f*ck does he know about boxing?" - Evidently he knows something since Garcia won a world championship himself.

 

Who the **** is he? He was a champ, you stupid tomato can.

 

Garcia was a more successful boxer than Roach and whilst hasn't been as successful as a trainer so far he is doing a damned good job.

Never liked the joke coach Roach. On the access all areas shows he speaks to people like ****, especially that P.A he has.

Where as Garcia came across as a likeable down to earth guy.

 

Roach and Garcia obviously have a history and they clearly don't like each other. Also, don't expect Roach to agree with Garcia over a fighter he trains. Common sense really.

 

Common sense and the ability to comprehend what is being said goes a long way. Garcia never said Algeri would walk all over Provo or that it would be an easy fight, etc... All he said was that the kid looked good and he shouldn't be overlooked. Roach is and will always be a tomato can who hides behind his medical condition to act like an ass.

 

Only a cabdriving scumbag would bring up Roach's illness as an insult. Go deliver those Pizzas on time, loser.

 

Ring King is correct, Roach does hide behind his illness and the media for the most part cut him slack and look the other way when Roach disrespects race, religioun,***ual preference, and people in general.

What other trainer would get away with calling someone a "******" or "****ing Mexican"??????
