he means paying to watch Setanta via a Sky box, they used to charge you for accessing Setanta using their boxes.

    assasin,

    You've got to stop.

You are making a complete fool of yourself.

    1. I know for a fact that you're wrong.

    2. They were talking about Roy before he moved up to HW.

Yet the telecast with Joppy was almost two years later.

Can you not see how ridiculous you're being?

Read the article I've just posted.

true, but he said they had the Sky panel on board and that's Bull****. it was American commentators, so he messed up there.

plus, it has Setanta on the right hand side at the top of the screen. you'd know you were watching it through Setanta if you ordered it. he didn't.

he was only able to find that link after i told him it was from Setanta. not before. the guy is a complete Turkey.

    I can't post links.

But type into Google - boxingondvd.co.uk

    Then go to fight list.

Open it up, and go to 2002.

    Tell me what you see.

Look you fool, it was 11 years ago.

I thought it was the Sky team that showed it.

    If I'm mistaken, fine.

But all I know, is that we watched it at my mates, ON SKY.

in all honesty, the only fights specific to channels that I can recall specifically offhand immediately are the Watson/eubank/etc channel 5 ones, and that's mainly because 5 was getting so much stick for being a crap channel at the time.I could actually be wrong about even these - you might care to correct me.

That was back in the day with just 5 channels. It cant be easy to specify channels when theres dozens, no one can recall details like that without fault immediately.

    Are you ******ed?

It has almost every major fight from each year, and what STATION it was BROADCASTED on.

Why the F**K would it say that Roy fought Kelly from a Sky Sports broadcast, if hadn't have been recorded from Sky Sports?

Why the F**K would it say that Bernard fought Daniels from a Sky Sports broadcast, if it hadn't have been recorded from Sky Sports?

I told you all along that I watched the Ruiz fight on Sky at my friends.

I honestly can't remember buying PPV, or what the undercard was.

But I knew for a fact that it was on Sky.

I thought it was the Sky team, and if it wasn't, which seems to be the case, then fine.

    I was 23, and drunk.

    We'd been out clubbing before.

But I know it was through Sky.

If you don't believe me, that's on you.

channel 5 weren't around at the time of the Eubank/Watson fights. they did show some boxing, that's were i saw the rematch between Holyfield and Moorer.

this was round about the time i got into boxing, so i might not be right, but i think it was ITV.

they have some fights as blank as to where the fight was shown. so it's not cut and shut.

it's a site that sells copies of fights on DVD, nothing more.

    assassin,

Be a man, and admit that you're wrong, like I've just done.

Go down that fight list, and look at any fight.

You can pick any fight from any year.

It tells you if the broadcast was from HBO, Fox, Sky Sports, Sky Box Office, ESPN, Showtime etc.

It clearly states that in 2002, they'd got a recording of Roy vs Kelly from Sky Sports, and two versions of Hopkins, one from Sky Sports and one from HBO.

    Bull****!

    Forget the blanks.

    Look at any year.

They were selling DVDs, listing the broadcasts they were recorded from.

    Give it up.

What you've wrote on the other thread is cringeworthy.

Piper and McGuigan talking about Roy before he moved to HW, supposedly on a telecast from almost two years later, after he'd comeback down?

Even bailey couldn't pull that spin.
