Well that's shocking, I don't know how he managed to do that. Anyway, I still think in their primes Jones Jr and Pacquiao could have generated similar sales as Floyd.

What one has to consider, at least to some degree, is that PPV/gate sales aren't the same as legacy fights. That said, if they were to fight it would be a legacy fight for both of them and I suspect PPV sales would reflect that. So you're dealing with a much bigger pot and the decision is simply how to divide this pot. Either way it's very likely a career high pay day for both. Seems to me the winner, especially if it's a TKO or a KO should get some kind of bonus like they do in the UFC. Perhaps 10% is held in escrow and the winner of the fight gets it, and they both have to agree on the judges.

We've been down this road a million times, Floyd doesn't have the cajones to get in with Pacquiao regardless of $$$.........

That's what their earnings are. It's the only source of determining who draws more.

Calculate how much revenue Floyds PPV+gate did vs Pac-Bradley ppv+gate and I guarantee it doesn't equal 71/29. Floyd would have had to generate more than double the revenue to justify that pay split.

Floyd charges more for his seats, what does that prove? Pac drew 41,000 fans to his fight on US soil.

    Pac-Bradley 2 gate = $7.8 million Manny's lowest in years:sad2

Mayweather-Maidana is expected to be Las VegasÂ’ fourth largest live gate at $15 million. :scaredas::scaredas:

Are you actually a boxing fan or, what should it be called, a boxing promoter's fan?

    Hmm :huh
