According to who? Who said that Algieri couldn't see? That is up to the doctors and they thought he was good to go, so your point seems null.

Did the press have Provo win?

I was about 10 rows back and I was pretty sure he had won comfortably on the cards despite looking ordinary

16 had it for Provodnikov, 13 for Algieri and 6 had it a draw.

Basically a close fight that could have went to either fighter.

Same thing happened the first time Sergio and Paul fought. Harder punches vs volume of punches. It depends on what you like and who you like. I like prov but he was sacrificing rounds to land the big shots, confident at some point he would get the stoppage. It didn't work that way and he gets sent back to the kiddie table. Roach didn't have a 12 round game plan. They planned for half a fight and it showed. If anything roach is to blame for sleeping on Algeri and his team.

This was no robbery. Prod causes a lot of damage because of how hard he punches, but there is a consession in his style when he can't take a guy out. His ring activity goes down because of the stamina that it takes to energize and keep throwing hard punches. Prod just wasn't busy enough.

He's a Pac D/ck rider who never gets respect here anyway. And yeah, he isn't even worth being called a hypocrite either.

Provo vs Pac would have been a far sight better than what Algeri brought to the table.

Algeri probably got the benefit of doubt from the judges because they knew Pac would have no problems with him.

A draw woulda been fair. I think a rematch should happen. Prov is a good world class brawler, he just needs to make some adjustments to be an elite fighter. If Prov can do many of the things Maidana is doing, like being more jab dependent, better defense, cut the ring off, and not abandoning his body attack, Prov can be even better than Maidana. Prov can't expect to beat everyone the same way, has to lay traps every now and then. Tenses up too much.

I thought Provodnikov won the fight, but I also believe Algieri would win a rematch, even with his dumbass trainer in the corner. All he has to do is keep boxing like he did, and avoid getting trapped allowing Provodnikov to land his bombs.

I thought Provod won a close fight with Chris, therefore I had to vote NO on the poll. I agree I would favor Chris in a rematch with Ruslan. No question I'd rather watch Provod fight though
