The "All Things Mayweather/Pacquiao" Express!!!!!!

Mayweather has a reason why he wants Khan and Broner in his undercard. It's the same reason why he puts Canelo on his undercards before. And it's because he needs to get extra PPV buys. He knows this that's why most if the times, he pays them a flat fee out of his own pocket and get more of the PPV share.

 

he put guys like canelo on his undercard because it was mutually beneficial to him and golden boy....floyd might some extra buys for people to see canelo and in turn gb gets to put canelo on with some exposure....now canelo is obviously passed that point....so guys like khan/broner go on to help gb/haymon guys get some press....

its just called being smart.....floyd had access to a large stable of fighters from gb/haymon.....top rank cant put names like that on an undercard....cause their cupboard is bare...not completely bare...but enough they cant put names on pac undercards because they need them to headline other shows.....dont fault floyd for having a better business model and a better deal....hes was aligned with the right people.....

 

Top rank needs to put Andy lee on all their ppvs, otherwise they are the worst.

 

sadly i have yet to watch that fight...only heard and read about it...seen some pictures....actually walked right by lee taking pics with fans outside MSG after...i didnt go in until the start of the sonsona/vazquez fight

 

The fact that Mayweather's last 2 combined fights sold more than Pacquiao's last 4/5 should show what type of split it should be

 

of course....but the tards just point to khan/broner undercards....canelo bringing fans...and the best dates...theres always an excuse

all of course are smart business decisions and possible because floyd had an alliance with the most powerful group in boxing....i guess we should penalize him for this?

canelo/angulo did about 350k....canelo/lara? ive seen people say they doubt it does more than 400k....so canelo isnt that big alone....sure if you put him up against cotto they could do some good numbers.....but canelo alone isnt bringing huge numbers....people will pay to see him fight a star...which is what floyd is

 

You also have to factor in Broner and khan was on Floyd's undercard while Manny had no undercard names

dont blame floyd.....its called smart business....he was aligned with the most powerful people in the game...and the best stable of fighters to choose from....its just smart

whereas someone like pac...TR has guys like mikey garcia...chavez...bradley...jmm....but he cant put any of those guys on undercards cause he needs them for tv headliners or other ppvs,,,other than that he doesnt have any much to work with for undercards.....floyds affiliation has afforded him his luxury.....it just is what it is

Pac is the draw. He is an international Superstar while floyd can't draw much outside of LV...Oh wait, he hasn't fought outside of Vegas since......ah, no one cares about Floyd the Racist, who wakes up in cold sweats dreaming of a "little yellow man"...LMAO.. the coward.

Floyd gets 49.75%, no greater. Base it on most recent performances, Floyd got a gift from the judges, Pac owned Bradley:yep:rofl

 

Getting Canelo, Khan and Broner is not free. They either get paid directly or receive portions of PPV buys. And yes it's not Mayweather's fault but this brings us back to my point that in their last fight, Pac made virtually the same PPV buys as Mayweather's with help from named undercards like Khan and Broner thus it would tell the real drawing power of Pac alone and he deserves at least the half of the purse if ever Mayweather decided to fight Pac.

 

All I'm saying is khan and broner helped with that gate..
why you continuous act like it was all Floyd is beyond me


Fact is PAC did 800k ppv buys with no undercard
And Floyd did 800k ppv buys with big names on the undercard

Pac has one fight close to Floyd's and everyone loses their mind. Never mind that Floyd has 2.4 and 2.2 PPVs. He beat Pacquiao in #'s with ODH, Cotto, Mosely, and Marquez. Broner and Khan don't bring in big PPV #'s, they were there for exposure. And Mayweather-Maidana didn't do as well because a lot of people thought it'd be a tune up. Broner and Khan were matched against soft opponents.

Pacquiao and Bradley are two top welters, and it did less than the first.
