    The fight is definately a possibility. Look what Arum said before the Algieri/Provo fight;

    “The fight that I’m going to try and zero in on and put together is Pacquiao vs. Algieri, after Chris beats Provodnikov on June 14th, I really think Algieri has a good shot to win this fight. I think he has the style to beat Ruslan Provodnikov.”

    Algieri is 30 years old. He's not a young fighter. However, he started boxing late so he's still relatively fresh.

    Pac/Rios at least has some entertainment value cause Rios will fight. Imagine Alg running all over the ring counter-punching. :patsch

    Algieri isn't south paw which I feel played a big part and a few years before working with Garcia.

    Provodnikov appears to struggle with south paws also based on the Corley fight in which he arguably lost 4 - 5 rounds the same year Matthysse drops Corley 6 + times on route to a stoppage win.

    Personally feel in Matthysse and Maidana are >Provodnikov similar power better skilled.
