i dont know how true that is, but thats what Holmes said.

 

I would not be surprised if Lewis said something like that as he seems a class fellow; like Holmes; most of the time! But I suspect if it had come down to it, Lewis' ego would of wanted to find the answer.

Yes true, but we also got lucky with the some of the bouts that did happen in decade.

 

Bowe **** his duds, Foreman openly said back then that he'd fight any heavyweight out there except for Lewis, said a few times on HBO actually. The other two, those fights didn't happen because not too many people wanted to see it happen.

Bowe called out Foreman to his face and Tyson said he had no interest ever fighting Bowe because they grew up and went to school together.

Bowe was prepared to fight any man while he was active. Including Lewis.

 

Byrd was a good fighter, but putting him in the same class as Rocky, Langford and Dempsey is , well, stupid. No way to sugarcoat that. Just completely asinine.

 

Actually Tyson has never commented on a Bowe fight, it was Bowe who said he wouldnt fight Mike as they grew up together.

While in prison, Bowe visited Tyson with Newman and they tried to organise a fight between them

Theres another recent video of Riddick Bowe talking about how he would have beat Mike and Lennox.

 

Bowe would definitely of beaten Lennox 92-94 in my opinion. He always said how he wanted to get him back for the Olympics.

The politics of the situation is a different matter.

 

The whole XYZ ducked Lewis is blown out of proportion and grossly exaggerated.

Funny how Holyfield, Bowe and Tyson are all accused of 'ducking' Lewis, yet guys like Morrison, Bruno, Rahman and Mcall had no issues getting into the ring with him?

You cant both be avoided and clear out your era at the same time?

Bowe would have beat Lewis in that period, Lewis always was a sucker for the right hand and Bowe had one of the best.

 

He might have.. But weather or not he and Rock Newman felt that way is another matter entirely.
