LOL Blatche only wants to play there cause he will PLAY. He isn't near good enough to play for America. LOL its a bs rule but hey whatever helps the hird world countries.

"International tournaments allow countries to be represented by naturalized players subject to certain conditions like the number of naturalized players in a team," Angara said.

"Other countries, while ranking higher than the Philippines, have opted to take advantage of this naturalized-player rule, meant to equalize the world basketball landscape historically ruled by American and European countries, with great benefit," Angara added."

and they all can or could dunk too. I've seen then all dunk either in college or the league. You are just throwing out names and really don't have a clue. Like I said, there isn't a player in the league under six feet tall that can't at least touch the rim.

    qualifications dont guarantee results.

id rather have a college dropout who spends his own money to help his countrymen than a harvard graduate that is going to rob the country.

i mean we have had bar top notcher who plunged the country into billions of debt, a movie actor who reportedly used the presidential palace for his personal gambling haven. pac cant be worse than these people.

and im not even going to vote for pac.

but if he wins, i have no choice but to support him.

people are so enamored with these high educational attainment. it's not going to guarantee success.

So you're in the Philippines? I think you're just trying to justify everything Pacquiao does by bringing up the qualifications aspect. It looks like he's allowed to do whatever he wants in the Philippines. To me, Pacquiao is just a politician. All the stuff he says publicly and does are just tactics taken from campaign runs. And it works, the boxing fans vote for him. I'm not saying he's not qualified, just questioning his qualification. But more power to him, I applaud his work ethic.

Its not about me dictating what he should do or should not do. I forgot about him not being a playing coach anymore which is part of my qualms about him getting into the association. If it is just coaching yes go ahead but still not advisable.

He has too much going on. I want the champion back. Philippine politics is dirty. I really hope he stays away from it. He is doing so well right now as congressman. Hopefully he does not get too deep into politics I really hope.

if yorue qualified youre allowed too.

    it's just not him.

thing is, you have to have the result.

if he starts losing games, im sure there will be exit strategy, turning it over to one of his assistants.

bulk of the strategy is marketing. filipinos are fiercely loyal. win, loss or draw, we support who we want to support.

like i said, pac has shown in the past his willingness to spend his own money for the sake of helping his countrymen.

and ive seen highly qualified politiicians doing the opposite.

im not going to vote for him nor will i judge him as being unqualified.

there moer qualified than him for sure but i dont really get inspired by these people.

examine their lifestyles vs. how much they are paid, you already know something is wrong.

at least pac is spendign his own money.

He's great for politics because he is much higher profile than all of his peers. His world is bigger than the politics and it makes him very hard to "buy." I'm not sure you get why he's in politics to begin with?
