Pulev is kinda awkward and that will be in his favor. The fight will come down to what kind of Chin he has and if he cuts over his eyes or not. While not great Pulev won't be a pushover and I expect him to make a fight of it more than Wlad's last few opponents have.

I always try look the thing without a biased glasses. Kubrat is good boxer, but i think he charge too fast. If he rly. want to take the Klitschko belt, it would be better if he first face some strong opponent, which will prepare him for Klitschko better.
So far all of his opponent wasn't something special. Most of his opponent was punching bags or not have a cardio for more then 4-5 rounds.
Maybe the real challenge was vs Thompson, but The Tiger was far from his best form. And he even won first 2-3-4 rounds, when he have cardio. After that hes gas was over and then The Cobra take advantage and won the fight via decision.
Kubrat have some good strengths in his game, and we this is fight and everyone who train some bi knows that eventually at that level everything can happen.

This is also a perfect moment to beat Wladimir, as he thinks for the "UNI" Match with Stivern/Wilder and his girlfriend is pregnant. So im not sure if he prepare at 100% for this match.
Though i dont like the Cobra talks how Wladimir is scared of him and try to escape the fight and so on.
In his last interview Cobra say he will beat Wlad and will take his belts. Strong words, but so far many contenders talk big, but we all know what happen to them subsequently.
I hope we see a good, clean and tied match. Hope this time referee is on level.

 

Nice work!!! To add a bit if I may. Wlad has a high right hand, which eliminates left hooks. In addition he moves his feet very well for a big man and can cover ground in a hurry. When Wlad clinches, he not only locks his man up in a vise, he puts his weight down on them, which drains his opponents stamina.

Pulev has a solid chin, but not a bullet proof one based on his amateur days.

Based on styles, you won't see a lot of clinching in this one. If Pulev come in in amazing shape and 10 pounds lighter, and understands he's going to have to take a few to land some, he has a chance.

Wlad's like a great matador out there. He controls the action as good as anyone I've seen, and yet he also has the strength and mass the bull! A big time pressure fighter with a top punch is Wlad's toughest match up. That is not Pulev.

Pulev came at 111.7kg against Perkovic. It is hard to find it on internet but its true. I expect him to be below 112kg/ 115 vs Abel
