Are you ******ed, or do you just play a ****** on TV? The Philippines is both a nationality and an ethnic group (Filipinos). As for Mexico, it is a nationality-- i.e. Mexican. The people there are either mestizos, Spanish, or indigenous. Is this **** really that complicated?
Actually The Phillippines ethnic structure is very similar to Mexico. There is no such thing as a Filipino ethnic group they are mutts formed over the past 50,000 years, They are part Polynesian, Chinese, Native Aborgines, Spanish, some are more White some are more Asian but most are mix of all. This is similar to the ethnic makeup in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia as well. There is no such thing as a Filipino, the name is after a Spanish Prince named Phillip. Personally I have no idea where all the confusion comes from as far a Latinos go, they are either White, Black, Native, or a mix, not that hard to figure out. Latin is a language and an ethnic group containing Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese, all white Europeans. They are the only true Latinos, all Black or Natives from those countries are not Latinos. They are Black and Native that speak Spanish which is a Latin Language. Blacks, Asians, Arabs, and Native Americans all speak English that doesn't make them English.
i was trying to make a point that you can not call someone pure breed. people mix up all the time especially in places like Brazil. Agrentina's culture is influenced by Africans, indigenous people, Spanish, Italian.
Yes, and I dabble in Genetics and genealogy. also there is very little, only around 2 percent of Argentina has black ancestry although you are right about Brazil.
