Because Maidana tried to cheat with those flimsy "custom" blue gloves. If I was Floyd, I'd do the same thing and so would 99% of others. I'd probably go as far as to make him wear the same gloves I woulda wore to the fight, it's to set a precedent for others. Don't try and cheat.
