well, loma may have more depth, but his win toniglht was helped by the fact that he was clearly the bigger, stronger guy... the size differential was definitely a factor in his ability to absorb russell's shots and be effective with his punches.

the same excuse can be made as to why Loma lost to Salido

Maidana was 2 weight classes bigger than Floyd on fight night, but did that get him a win? no, because size isn't everything, if you have the size advantage, you also need the skills and intelligence to use it correctly

Excuses. lomachenko only 1 1/2 inches taller and they weighed the same.

Skill was the main factor..........deal with it LOSER :deal

OK, i admit i was not that impressed with loma really...you could say that russell was landing at a low percentage, but at least he was punching. loma's output was very low, throughout but especially in the early and middle rounds. loma took whole rounds off at a time...seemed like he gasses easy. for get stupid a99 steve farhood...I scored it like this.

    rd 1 loma
    rd 2 GRJ
    rd 3 GRJ
    rd 4 GRJ
    rd 5 loma
    rd 6 GRJ
    rd 7 loma
    rd 8 GRJ
    rd 9 GRJ
    rd 10 Loma
    rd 11 loma
    rd 12 loma

6 rounds to 6. I think the difference is, the judges gave loma most of the early rounds...even so, GRJ faded in rds 11 and 12 which had no business doing, and which is what really lost him the fight.

lol...i don't see GRJ as a bum at all. he may not be the most complete or talented guy out there, but with some good coaching and matchmaking he'll be back. he has better speed than loma. he's quicker and has a good chin and landed some good counters on loma when loma wasn't running away from him. he actually outlanded loma in the last four rounds, unlike what compubox says. but he came up short in the final two rounds against an opponent who was clearly physically bigger and more technical. he

Dude they showed the tale of the tape just before the fight. How about you use your eyes for once?

    My friend.

you are in denial now. you cant hear or see objectively for some time. you refuse to hear and see the facts even someone pointed you it black in white. for outsiders your behaviour looks hysterical.

lol...all i did was ask a question, fella. no need to get indignant. if they showed it, they showed it...what i'm saying is, lomachenko was clearly the bigger man in the ring and it showed. it's not like he outclassed GRJ... his main advantage was the fact that he's the bigger guy.

I would say his main advantage was his ability to land cleaner punches.

Russell's flurries often fell short or hit arms.

Both weighed the same and Russell has talked about moving up to 130 lbs in the past.
