Ward recently said there's life after boxing and basically he'd be content if he were to retire..

I really wish Ward would live up to his potential. He's extremely talented.

I remember hearing that he wanted to become the heavyweight champ of the world one day.

With all this said he has a BORING style, always has to have everything on his terms and is a delusional idiot.

I personally wouldn't care at all if he retired and I never got to see him fight again. Ward is THE ONLY fighter I don't go back and watch I'd rather watch grass grow.

I'm not being a hater it's just how I feel. He's been offered several fights at 168 but turned them down. (He only wants froch jccjr or fighters from lower weights to move up) I'd only be interested in his career if he chased greatness and moved up to 175, but he doesn't want that. He knows he can't use his wrassling rough house tactics against bigger guys like Frankenstein.

How do you guys feel?? Would you care if you ever got to see Ward fight again??

Sadly with his terrible management and promotion no one will care and I'm a fan of his since the 2004 Olympics.

    This.

He's virtually cleaned up at 168 and imo he should go to 175, but with him being inactive he's virtually becoming forgotten.

I would prefer it if he didn't retire but only if he is actually going to fight against the most challenging opposition like GGG, Stevenson and Kovalev.

He's not exactly thrilling to watch but I wouldn't want to see a guy as talented as him retire when there's so much more he could achieve.

I read a quote recently where he was dismissing the Kovalev fight; "If I beat Kovalev, then what?". I'm not sure what kind of attitude that is. Even if he's not exciting, beating the top guys from 160-175 would earn him money and respect. That's what it's all about really.

The guy is the best in his division, he should fight on if he has the talent.

If a guy like Froch can get lots of praise and glory, and still be an easy nights work for Ward....he should fight more, test himself more and just make a legacy for himself.

175 or retire, nothing left to prove at 168 but wouldn't really care if he did retire.

Andre wont be stepping into a ring anytime soon so he should be fine if he called ward out. In all honesty he is a very good fighter and needs to get his ass in the ring and fight literally anybody

I'd love to see him get back in the ring and fight twice a year. Even though I'm not the biggest Andre Ward fan here, I don't dislike him and having good, active champions is good for the sport. There's interesting fights for him. I'd be bummed if it came down to him retiring, but he really seems jaded on boxing.
