cherrypicking in terms of boxing is when a fighter takes on an easier fight that's available.

pac is available, pac wants to fight floyd. problem is floyd's scared. if pac goes on to fight anyone, it can't be considered a cherrypick since he also wants to fight the toughest available for him.

again, the fact that pac wants to fight floyd, who is considered the toughest fight for him, exempts pac from being called a cherrypicker.
