Loma could dominate to 20-1 and then go on to lose horribly to 20-6. He has potential, he's a really good fighter, but let's not get carried away. I know it takes a long time but let's see what happens. Look how promising Andre Ward was, now he's just stuck and losing credibility. Look at Berto, such a promising star, now he sucks.
Loma got robbed on points fighting judges, a welterweight and a corrupt ref in his 2nd fight. Hive him a break
Laszio Papp won 3 consecutive GOLD MEDALS, is the only person to win GOLD in different weight classes.
Loma won Gold in Featherweight and Lightweight at the Olympics. Loma won the Val Barker Trophy in one of them. Loma won 2 World Championships, at two different weight classes, one where he broke his hand early in the tournament yet fought on and only conceded 7 points overall in the whole tournament. In the other World Championships, he only lost in the Final - a loss that was later avenged. 402-1 Probably the GOAT amateur.
They were career amateurs. Loma would have outshined their accomplishments if he stayed amateur his enitre fighting life.
Void is a fraud, he is still running from Pac because of his fear...............Void needs to fight the fight everyone wants to see, and that fight is against Pac. Lomachenko moves, and throws more punches than Void and he does not beat up women..............
But they were **** opponents (Floyd's three early pro wins), you can't deny this. Zab Judah looked as great as Floyd vs such **** opposition. The difference between Floyd and Zab was made when they stepped up in competition, so your point isn't valid. Floyd looked fantastic agains 1st opponent, who never won pro fight though (0-4 as pro). Floyd's secongd opponent has 12-47-4 record and never beat top-200 opponent in his life, Floyd's 3rd win was against 6-3 Jerry Cooper (his record now stands at 16-16-1).
Floyd was fighting cans his first 3 fights? He was 19 years old. Loma started his career at 25. He also had like 6 pro fights that people try to act like didn't happen. Mayweather was a world champ at 21 and beat the legitimate champ to get his title. It took Loma two tries and some shady back room deals to get his first title. And he won a vacant title against a guy who had fought no one of note.
Who was Floyd's first title fight against, and how did he do? Compare that to Loma's first title fight. Comparing these two at this stage is like comparing apples and oranges. Loma was in a unique situation. He was a lot older than Floyd when he turned pro and also had a series of pro bouts that for whatever reason aren't counted by many people. Comparing their resumes after 3 fights is just as pointless as comparing their resumes at the age of 26.
