Frazier definently takes this, Tyson hated it when people stood up to him and would've ran out of gas in the late rounds and that was the worse time to be in a fight with frazier cause that's when joe starts smoking and tyson would be helpless.

Fast start Tyson could catch Frazier napping. Joe gets out of the first 4 rounds and Tyson would be in serious trouble.

I would make Tyson a favourite but give Frazier a very good chance of an upset.

It would be interesting to see who could manage their preferred distance better. That is the key for me.
Frazier was strictly an in-close guy, and Tyson preferred the mid-range. I won't list the attributes in which I think Tyson is superior since it's clear to see from film and going by his form book against smaller heavyweights, I think this is Tyson's fight to lose.

But Joe could make things interesting if he does manage to stay in close with Mike.

    '87/'88 Tyson all day.

I see it going a similar way to Foreman/Frazier.

Any other Tyson, even the Tyson that beat Bruno the first time would struggle past round 5 IMO.

Talk about an all time great fight. It boils down to this....Tyson early or Frazier late. Prime Frazier was a relentless slugging pain in the ass who was harder to hit than most people think. He had the warrior mindset and was mentally very strong. There was simply no quit in him. Tyson would be best served by jumping on Joe from the opening bell since Joe was a slow starter and needed a few rounds to really warm up. That's when he was most vulnerable so if Mike does this he could put Joe down enough times to convince the ref to end it. If he doesn't though, he's in for a long night...a very long night...and the longer it goes, the more I favor Frazier.

Frazier was mentally superior, and had way better stamina, if he could get past the first 5 rounds, (and i believe he would) he stops Mike late in a 15 round fight..

Both guy's were near identical in size, but im sorry i just can't see Tyson taking a lot of punishment in a long 15 round fight, he didn't have the heart Frazier did:-(

Mike should win.....Frazier could win! There would have been some build up to this fight, mouth watering!

Tyson cant take a lot of punishment....but Frazier can?
what happened when Frazier fought the one puncher in his whole career?
Tyson would beat Frazier pillar to post and atop him.

I think that Tyson would stop him in a couple of rounds.

If Mike couldn't stop Joe inside of three rounds I see Frazier warming up, coming on strong and taking Mike out ninth round onwards!

Joe Frazier is my favorite fighter of alltime but this is not a good matchup for him.

I think Mike Tyson`s handspeed and his devastating uppercuts woud be Joe`s downfall. Tyson could rip with both hands and put them together in combination when he was at his peak.

If Joe managed to make it to the 5th or 6th round and was still in the fight then his advantages may come into play. I just don`t see that as the most likely scenario.

    Tyson by early TKO.

PS Joe would never take a 10 count the referee would have to intervene.

Tyson did stop people in the 4th, 5th and 6th as well you know.

He only became a 4 round fighter during the last couple of years of his career.
