On paper, this fight looks as good as Loma/Russell. Who're you picking?

One's 0 has got to go!

Oh thank you, a real thread now. And I think Gamboa is a more skilled fighter, but he's out of his dept at this weight. Add in the fact that he's been so inactive, I see him at a big disadvantage.

It's do or die for Gamboa as far as I'm concerned. A Crawford win here shits on Gamboa's unfulfilled potential and launches Crawford into the spotlight!

Expecting Gamboa to fight like his career depended on this win and come through victorious.

Crawford will win in an excruciating borefest.

Good point, Gamboa says his gameplan is to come out from the start and jump on him. He's acting like it's do or die.

Here's a 9 minuted video of him sparring

Dont know what it is, just never liked Gamboa and am completely unimpressed with him in his recent fights

Always felt he got away with coming in straight ahead with his hands down and his chin up

he is older maybe slower and in with a bigger guy who can match his athletic ability

I say Crawford and maybe inside the distance

I'm inclined to agree, though I don't think Crawford can match Gamboa's athleticism.

I also don't think his chin can hold up to Crawford fists either.

Now how about you revive the old FAQ thread. Good thread that.

Gamboa at this very best is better than Crawford at his very best.

Unfortunately, Gamboa is one of the biggest waste of talent in boxing. He should have fought Rios when he had the chance and he would have became a star if he won.

He's too inactive and he's been caught using PEDs. He may be short, but he's fast & explosive. If he is anywhere near his best, he beats Crawford.
