    Huh?

    Macklin
    Geale

    Yes, those two...

    Who else are you counting?

The Ring ranked Proksa and Stevens each at #10 when they lost to Golovkin, but those were far from the consensus rankings. I would go so far as to say the majority of fans did not rank either in the top 10 at MW going into their fight against Golovkin.

Geale is a very good name on his resume and if Golovkin can be the first to stop him i world be very impressed.

At this stage I am simply hoping Geale makes it into the ring on July 26th!

i wouldn't say huge credit. but credit, yes.

Geale is a good fighter so it will be a good solid win if Golovkin comes out on top. which i expect him to.

Let GGG win first. Its a tough fight, Gale is a legit top 5 MW and arguably the toughest fight GGG could have taken.

Next stop should be Soleyman though, the man deserves a payday, he is a true warrior and a road warrior.

Golovkin has Ouma on his record as well, and that man is no pushover.

I'd rate Geale, Barker and Macklin as the same league of middleweight. So, he'd get credit for...beating another of a handful of good name middleweights. But it wouldn't catapult him into the ranks of elites or anything, even if you think he's there judging on pure ability, which he might be. That's if he wins. Upsets happen. :yep

I'll be surprised if GGG can stop Geale, unless it happens cold in the first rd or 2 then Geale is a fitness fighter and will move and absorb some good shots...... Geale has been in with a lot better opposition than GGG has and never looked hurt at any time.

Solimon beat Sturm clearly, while Geale got a controversial decision. Geale wouldn't be a top ten middleweight in Hopkins prime days at middleweight.

I haven't seen all his fights but according to boxrec Geale has been put on the floor in 4 fights:
    Garry Cormer- round 7
Nonoy Gonzales- twice in round 2
    Lee Oti-round 2
    Daniel Mackinnon- round 8

Geale won't be able to stay away from Golovkin for 12 rounds unless he leaves the ring.

Also Anthony Mundine but he's not chinny and recovered to win all those fights bar the Mundine. He recovers well but hasn't faced a puncher like Golovkin. I think he will give Golovkin his first loss. Geale S/D.

Golovkin by knockout in a mismatch. Golovkin hopes to fight Soliman after that fight, then Cotto and Quillin, but Quillin is very afraid, so he will run, so will Cotto................
