I know he doesn't use the shoulder roll, and doesn't shake his head "no" when he gets hit, but that doesn't mean he has no defensive skills.

It is isn't it. But he has stayed upright against far superior fighters to those he has been KD'd by. But Golovkin is a different beast altogether and I hope he can execute a perfect gameplan to score a decision win. He's harder to hit clean these days.

 

Movement with a purpose will be key for Geale against GGG, imo.
It seemed to me that at times in the Barker fight, Geale was moving for the sake of movement without really doing anything with it.
His punch volume wasn't as high as I figured it would be either.
Despite his lack of power, that was a world class nasty body shot he dropped Barker with though.
Still don't know how Barker got up from that.

 

Unlike Macklin, Geale will come to fight.

heh well said. i think geale will lose tough fight in final two rounds as referee stopping it or towel has been throw in the ring. geale will make this fight, i am sure of it.

 

not sure about that Geales best wins are a very close win vs Sturm and a points win vs old Mundine imo Macklin cleary beat Stum on points and gave Martinez an even fight for 10 rounds
