Why come did GGG struggle with a shot, former 147 Kassim Ouma?

This has to be one of GGG worst fights

Ouma/GGG was a back and forth war

Ouma was landing at will basically and confusing GGG at times

GGG was just too big and strong in the end

BUT to me it showed GGG poor defense and he is very beatable if a shot former Welter could give him hell

GGG has never been a defensive wizard. He is a offensive pressure fighter with heavy hands and a strong chin.

I think the answer is that GGG is just a limited hype job who's fought a bunch of stiffs and he's gonna get exposed as soon as he steps up to real competition.

Do you think Geale will expose him?

HBO is hyping him, but they know he has the goods. The best thing anyone can hope to do against GGG is hug and hold for 12 rounds hoping for a decision.

I am not sure but he definitely did not look impressive in that fight, maybe he wasn't 100%? I think he has improved since then too.

abel said in an interview he was jet-lagged and fatigued from being stranded at the airport unable to check his weight and so not eat. he obviously wasn't himself in that fight.
