Does anyone not rate Joe Louis in there top 2 heavyweights of all time list?

This is why I rate on resume very heavily.

 

I don't disagree that Louis's resume is better,and therefore historically speaking he can be called a greater champ.But if one believes ,[as I do ,]that Dempsey kos him early, how can I place Louis above Dempsey?

I think there are a quite a few that had greater reigns than Johnson but how many beat him?

 

I thought it was pretty much accepted that even going on a purely h2h basis Louis is a top 5 if not 3 heavy. :huh

It would be inaccurate to say he only gets the high rankings he does based on resume. For a lot of people he makes it up there on strength of both factors.
