If John Ruiz landed a powerful right hook on Roy Jones Jr's chin, I bet he could knock him out also

 

Of course he would brutally KO him. Roy has no chin. NONE, and has never had a chin. NEVER!!

The only reason he wasn't KO'd as often as Eric Crumble earlier in his career was his freakish athleticism brought on by massive steroid abuse had allowed him to avoid punches on his glass chin. :deal

I don't understand you, in some posts you hype GGG in other posts you hate on him. I've been trying to figure out whether you're trolling or you are just that obsessed.

 

GGG would never land that punch on prime Roy is the primary issue there. GGG has good timing in his way, but prime RJJ was one of the few cases where his speed was so overwhelming that timing him was a near-impossibility.

 

Yeah he could KO a prime Jones Jr if he landed flush, would be more impressed by his ability to travel back in time to do so though.

Now that's a more interesting hypothetical, can Golovkin time travel? Or perhaps can Golovkin cure cancer or achieve world peace :think Perhaps even face an elite fighter and confirm the hype....nah now I'm being ridiculous.

 

Golovkin would knock Roid Jones out, no doubt about it. Roid's chin has always been glass...............

 

hed prob knock him out or atleast down. its hard to say because younger roy barely got hit so was it a case of his punch resistance going due to age or was it always bad and his amazing skill kept it from being touched

even with a good chin if GGG landed a great shot it would prob send him down, do i think GGG could even get close to touching a roy jones jr.. NO ****ING WAY

First, you're assuming that he'd actually land a powerful right hook on Roy. Second, what would happen when Roy lands on GGG? Golovkin has never fought anyone with that combination of reflexes, hand speed and pop so I think it's more likely that Roy would test Golovkin's chin before he would test Roy's.

 

Yes, if Roy Jones stopod in the middle of the ring, with his hands down,chin out...and his eyes closed. GGG could theoretically KO him.

What do you think happens if Jones starts landing his bombs on GGG?

golovkin rarely even uses the right hook and has never knocked anyone out with it. he throws mostly jabs, straight rights and left hooks. most of you tools don't even watch him fight.

 

Anyone landing on a guy clean can knock them out. The thing is it is hard to land a clean punch on any great fighter. Hagler had to rush Hearns just to land the punches and he left himself open to punches. It is always a risk. GGG is not in Roy's class. The younger Roy Jones demolishes GGG in about 3 or 4 rounds.
